Funzig

Funs 'Funzig' Janssen (1993) lives and works in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His style is striking, recognizable and refreshing, especially through the use of his colors and his illustration technique, which have the quality to really take you in a moment. Because he incorporates the stories and ideas in his work in a cinematic way, it is suitable for; publications, editorial work, brands, advertising campaigns and posters. Much of his recent work was made in Rotterdam and there was one question that reappears in his work in various guises: whose city does it belong to? Funs tackles gentrification and continues his graduation work on public urban space.
