Noa Verhofstad

Hermès commissioned Studio Noa Verhofstad to create the Christmas 2018 display for their Amsterdam and Oslo shop windows. Following Hermès's theme 'Play', Verhofstad found her inspiration in the arctic region; the playful white landscape, with their local inhabitants such as a polar bear (Ursus maritimus) and a white owl (Bubo scandiacus).

All the objects in the display are crafted using the traditional stained glass technique. The animals are dressed in genuine Hermès leather.
