Nieuwsuur invited Carli Hermès to reflect on the new exhibit of Rembrandt's newly restored Marten & Oopjen, currently on display in Rijksmuseum as part of the High Society exhibit. For the broadcast Carli imagined Oopjen as a modern day 23 year old (as that was her age at the time of the creation of the painting), and he also created a version of what she might have looked liked, as 17th century painters were probably no stranger to 'photoshopping' their clientele!
