No Place Like Home is a long-term project by Fredrik Clement telling the stories of surf culture on the western coast of Thy, Denmark, where Fredrik lives. Coldwater surfing has been a growing phenomenon here since the first surfers arrived some 20 years ago. The surf community here is unique. Close-knit, yet open-minded and welcoming across ages and styles of surfing, free of the exclusivity and bravado that you sometimes find elsewhere. The connection to the sea and the landscape is strong as a beating heart. Fredrik and his son both surf here and so the fascination is multidimensional.
