Koen Hauser is a visual artist known for his intangible body of work flowing between fine arts, fashion and applied photography. As an image sorcerer he transforms technique into emotion, the spectacle into mystery. He currently explores digital rendering of sculptural forms such as in the acclaimed so-called virtual sculpture of designer duo Viktor and Rolf.
In using cultural heritage and historical references, he collaborates with different cultural institutes, museums and archives like gemeentemuseum Den Haag, Nationaal Archief, Rijksmuseum, Museum Boerhaave and Zeeuws Museum.
His work features in a wide range of renowned magazines like Harpers Bazaar, L’Officiel, FOAM magazine and many more. He has worked with both national and international clients like Heineken, Tommy Hilfiger and Vlisco.
