Solo exhibition by Saša Ostoja
Handcrafted window displays
Over the past year, Saša Ostoja has moved from focusing on his recognizable characters, to building visual worlds around them. In doing so, he experimented with different materials, work-techniques and drawing-speeds, coloring and sizes. On November 29 he will exhibit a new blueprint that is recognized by its size, its fullness and its surprisingness.
Three new, big sized works will form the centre of the exhibition and are the outcome of a development focused on an autonomous rhythm, rather than an external pace.
In his aim to create a multilayered connection to his work, he got to dive into the world of different ways of printing through his experiences at the AGA LAB. This allowed him to narrow down the space between his digital work and the final print. Besides the central works, Sasa will exhibit a selection of his latest riso- and screen prints that will be for sale in a limited edition at the opening.
This project is supported by the AFK (Amsterdam Fund for the Arts).
